Sandy Spring, MD - Today Senator Roger Manno wrote to the Montgomery Planning Board in strong support of the children and parents of Farquhar Middle School (FMS), in their efforts to expand the current site, and in opposition to the "busing option." Roger's support of the local "land-swap option" would overt having Farquhar children bussed some 3 hours per day back and forth to another county school (see letter below). The parents of FMS also favor the "land-swap option" and oppose the "busing option." The letter is reprinted below.
