Silver Spring, MD - This Spring, Freshman Senator Roger Manno earned Maryland's highest environmental rating: 100% Lifetime Rating.
Senator Manno's Lifetime Rating by both Environment Maryland and the Maryland League of Conservation Voters averages Manno's 5 years in the Maryland General Assembly, including his 4 years in the House of Delegates, in which Manno received the State's #1 Environmental Rating among 141 Delegates, and his first year in the Maryland Senate, in which he received a perfect 100% score among 47 Senators. The Lifetime Rating reflects both committee votes and Floor votes, making Manno the highest environmental rated Senator in Maryland.

Manno spoke from Silver Spring: "It is a rare honor to receive Maryland's highest environmental rating. I'm very proud of what we've accomplished -- but there's little time to reflect because there's so much work to do to advance the causes of clean energy, sustainable growth and agriculture, and watershed mitigation."
