TOWN HALL MEETING: Taking Back the Budget


State Senator Roger Manno (MD-19) of the Senate Budget and Taxation Committee, and Congresswoman Donna Edwards (CD-8) of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee will join ecomomists and policy analysits to discuss state and federal progresive budget solutions to the ongoing economic crisis. Please join friends, neighbors and activists for this important briefing, and add your voice to this community dialogue.

Directions: The facility is located in downtown Silver Spring, at the intersection of Ellsworth Drive and Fenton Street. Driving Directions: From the Beltway, come south on Colesville Avenue (Exit 30) for approximately 2 miles to Fenton Street. Go left on Fenton to Ellsworth Drive (2 blocks). Turn right on Ellsworth and the parking garage will be your right. The Silver Spring Metro is three blocks away. Metro Directions: Exit to Colesville Avenue. Cross Georgia. The next street is Fenton. Go right on Fenton to Ellsworth, one block down. The building is on your left. There are bike racks on the grounds.
